Does the CarplayGo work with Android auto?

No, it does not. It only works with Apple CarPlay.

Do I need to reconnect my phone with the CarplayGo every time I get in the car?

No, you only need to set up the connection the first time you use it. The CarplayGo adapter will automatically reconnect to your phone when you start the engine / CarPlay system.

The CarplayGo stopped working or does not work from the beginning, what can I do?

Simply reboot it by unplugging and re-plugging the CarplayGo if it is not working properly. Also, make sure you are connecting CarplayGo to the USB port that transmit data in your car (some USB ports are only for charging).

Can I watch Youtube, Netflix or Disney+ etc. streaming services with this adapter on the car’s screen?

No, the streaming apps are not supported by CarPlay & the CarplayGo adapter.

How do I update firmware online by myself? (Please DO NOT update if the unit is working well)

Make sure your phone is connected with the CarplayGo.

Open Safari and type in “192.168.50.2”

A pop up window will show up. Click on “Update.” OR click on “Check update” to see if there is any newer version. Click on “Update” to start.
