Attention: Please ensure that your devices have at least two HDMI ports, 1 HDMI + 1 DP, or 1 HDMI + 1 Type C, that support two external monitors before making a purchase. If you require additional HDMI ports, we recommend using a high-quality converter cable that supports 4k@60Hz for a 1-to-1 connection. We don’t recommend any laptop users to use a cheap 1-to-2 docking station with this product, as it will not work.

M1 Pro MacBook Pro (two external displays), M1 Max MacBook Pro (There external displays). The M1 Mac Mini does natively support up to two external monitors one via the HDMI port and a second via USB-C which will work with this product.

Attention: This HDMI dual monitor KVM switch requires two HDMI outputs for each computer. If you need more HDMI output, consider a good quality DP to HDMI adaptor/cables.For DP to HDMI we recommend: Warky 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Cable Adapter 6FT or 3.3ft, or CableCreation Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter(4K@60Hz) with our HDMI cable.Attention: hotkey software does not work with a keyboard with a maximum transfer rate greater than 12Mbps; (about 1% in the market). If this happens, turn off the keyboard hotkey by using right[CTRL] + right [CTRL] + [k] + [Enter]. After that, the keyboard USB port becomes a standard USB 2.0 Hub and can be used for any USB device. Please note that you can still use the mouse hotkey switch and one-button switch.

This bright digital display shows the current channel and the hotkey’s on/off states. Not more guessing, unlike a common green led light, you can clearly see it even in the dark investment

When the hotkey is on, plug the mouse and keyboard into the dedicated mouse and keyboard slot. Press the right CTRL key twice or double-click your mouse roller wheel to switch to the other computer

This HDMI switcher comes with a 3.5mm audio and microphone slot on the front panel.

No drive is needed; plug in all the cables and a power adapter, follow the user manual’s instructions, and you are ready to go.

Auto-EDID

It supports Auto-EDID, which prevents the pop-up windows from moving around and changing their size. For example, your software is full-screen. Without EDID, after switching between computers, it might change its size to window mode and move to the place that you don’t want it to be.

Installation

Power off your computers and monitors.Connect two computers to the KVM switch with 2 HDMI cables and 2 USB (Type A to B) cables. KVM switch with Automatic Switching: To enable the automatic switching feature of the KVM switch, press Right [CTRL] twice, then [S], and [Enter]. The default auto-switching time is 10 seconds. (To turn it off, simply press this shortcut combination again). You can adjust the auto-switching time by pressing Right [CTRL] twice, followed by [S], then [N], and [Enter], where ‘N’ represents the number of seconds for the switching time (ranging from 1 to 999 seconds).
